CARE AND WARRANTY

Thank you for choosing Mulberry Co furniture. Our furniture is designed to provide comfort, durability, and style for many years. To ensure that your furniture maintains its beauty and function, please follow these care instructions.

GENERAL CARe

  • Avoid exposing your furniture to direct sunlight for prolonged periods as it may cause fading and discoloration.
  • Timber surfaces ie Bookcase design use coasters, placemats to protect the surface of your furniture from scratches, spills, and heat damage.
  • Keep your furniture away from sources of moisture and humidity, such as air conditioning vents, radiators, and open windows.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean your furniture. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals that may damage the finish.
  • Fabric – regularly vacuum using low suction upholstery attachment. Rotate reversible cushions regularly. Check care label for cleaning.
  • Leather – Regular care – Protect from direct sunlight, direct heat and adverse weather conditions. Regularly clean & dust your leather with a white soft clean dry cloth. Do not use Shoe, floor, laundry or other harsh general cleaners. Do not use any abrasive, cleaning powders or pastes. Do not use solvent, furniture, floor or show polish.

  • Seat cushions – softening of seat cushions between 10% – 30% is normal and not covered by our Warranty.

SOFA BEDS

  • Rotate the mattress monthly to ensure even wear and prolonged its life.
  • Do not move the sofa while the bed is open to prevent damage to the mechanism.
  • Do not close the bed with sheets, pillows or blankets inside.
  • Do not sit or stand on the head or foot of the bed.

TIMBER FINISHES

  • Use a soft, clean cloth to clean the surface of your timber furniture.
  • Protect the surface from hot items by using coasters or trivets.
  • Avoid spilling nail polish remover, solvent, or alcohol on the surface, as it may stain.

WARRANTY

  • Mulberry Co furniture comes with a 10 years structural warranty that covers frame construction and component defects for residential use.
  • This warranty excludes timber plinth and legs if damaged during transit, dragged, or dropped.
  • Machine tensioned webbing (suspension system) 10 years warranty
  • No sag Zig Zag springs – 10 years
  • We offer a 12 months workmanship warranty on sewing and upholstery.
  • High foam content seat cushions are covered by a 10 years warranty, while high feather and fibre blend seat cushions are covered by a 5 years warranty.
  • Fabric and leather warranties are provided by external suppliers. Please refer to their warranty information for details.
  • Metal legs and swivel bases are also covered by external supplier warranties.
  • Sofa bed mechanisms are covered by a 3 years external supplier warranty.
  • Motion Chair electric components – 3 years warranty.
  • Motion accessory parts – 1 year warranty.
  • Products used in commercial, rental trade, institutional, or non-residential havea limited warranty, contact us for further information

HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM

  • To make a claim, please contact your retailer to lodge a service.
  • We will contact you within 24 business hours to acknowledge receiving the service. Following confirmation of the service the end user will be contacted.
